My research is about the disparity between careers portrayed on TV and how those careers are in real life. My main example is the glamourous portrayal of doctors in Grey’s Anatomy. This importance of this research really lies in the dangers of going into a profession based on an unrealistic understanding of the lifestyle associated with the given career. In the above meme, we see an example of a small minded man now made cynical by his disappointment with his career - not a good quality in a person who’s supposed to save lives.
NB - Meredith Grey is the lead character in Grey’s Anatomy.

Kelly held her own with Bey - props to Kelly for that…and I like Michelle and all, I love her unusual voice, but she didn’t even get the hair flip right. What’s so complicated about that Michelle? - this is a big performance girl!

I also wonder though if maybe she just didn’t want to be there. Beyonce gave her one line to sing, and that one line was in a Beyonce single. Then, she was dismissed after 2 minutes. She’s got it hard. Why try? All her efforts do is make Beyonce look better anyway.

Interesting that they took the time to make this video indicating that they are in facts fans of Beyonce, but at the same time they paint her in a negative light (even though it is satire). Just an interesting case of vidding used to contradict the official video - in this case it literally does that by just recording over the original video.

Not very high quality fan vidding, but entertainment nonetheless.

Aslo interesting because it shows the intersection of entertainment and politics:)
